A lovely house with a great view over countryside and the ocean. It has a wonderful living room with big open doors. Which lead out to the pool. We had the pool heated which enabled us to use it throughout our 11 day stay. Little hiccup at the beginning with pool temperature but the housekeeper came out and sorted it straight away. The house is half way up a hill with a wonderful walk down to the beach below along a levada. You are around 500m above sea level so quite a drop down. The house is in a rural location with sounds of chickens, Cockerels and farm animals nearby. We liked being out in the countryside/ rural rather than in the city. You do need a car for this location as buses are not regular enough. Some nice local bars and shops in walking distance.
Excellent communication from our host. The accommodation was exactly as described. The location is rural which is perfect for us. We relied on the abundant availability of taxi's to get us around the island, otherwise you will need a vehicle. Would certainly recommend this place as a peaceful alternative to the capital.
Ohne Zweifel, eine der schönsten und modernsten Unterkünfte, die wir jemals über Airbnb gebucht haben. Wir haben eine super schöne Woche gehabt, welche uns wohl immer in positiver Erinnerung bleiben wird. Der Check-In ist recht einfach. Nach Ankunft am Flughafen einfach die Nummer anrufen und es wird der Code für ein Sicherheitsschloss genannt, damit ihr einfach und selbstständig ins Haus gelangt. Wir kamen in der Nacht um 2 an und es gab keine Probleme mit der Kommunikation. Kleine Empfehlung... solltet ihr über die kühleren Monate reisen und im Pool baden wollen, empfehle ich für die Woche den Aufpreis für die Pool-Heizung zu zahlen. Ansonsten ist das Wasser nämlich recht frisch. Wir hatten so 17 - 18°C Wassertemperatur ohne Pool-Heizung. Fazit: Sollten wir wieder nach Madeira reisen, wird es mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit wieder diese Unterkunft werden! ����
Stunning place! We spent thre slightly over a week in December. Positives: -buitiful, tastefully designed house that offers lots of space and fantastic amenities (pool, game room, outdoor grill) - easy to find and access, has generous parking space - very well equipped, it has absolutely everything you might need - amazing view! - some nice walking paths in the area and short drive away from some picturesque locations and levada walks Negatives: - it's not an ideal location if you don't have a car (e.g. no grocery shops in the walking distance) - weather in December is not great in this location as it's up on the hill and often gets covered by clouds Overall, fabulous accomodation. Highly recommend, especially for family holidays

Can highly recommend this villa operated by Our Madeira. Extremely well equipped, very clean, well thought out welcome/starter pack in kitchen and shower gel/shampoo provided in all 3 bathrooms. Communications were excellent/quick, directions from the airport the best laid out I've had from an Airbnb and check in/out easy. Nice location with good views although we found the weather in the west of the island to be slightly less reliable than in the east nearer Funchal. Perhaps it was just the time of year(Sept) but its not a big island and we found it easy to drive to sunny locations on cloudy days at the villa.

We had an amazing stay at Belle Vista, the villa is spacious, clean, private and set in a remote location in the mountains which is exactly what we wanted. The air felt so clean. You will need a car or take a taxi to reach any shops or restaurants, although there is a small bar in walking distance, but in terms of peace, quiet, views and escapism, this location has it all. The Villa is appointed to a high standard and is well maintained. Feels more like a hotel in the bedrooms and bathrooms than a private home. The outdoor space and pool was perfect and the views are incredible. You are not overlooked. The only thing I would say; just to be very honest about the advertising of this villa. The photographs you see on Airbnb are taken on a flattering wide angle lens! Maybe I should've clocked that! But when we arrived, the pool was definitely smaller (approx 10m) than expected, along with the garden space! Obviously this applies to the villa too, but that is not to say the villa isn't spacious, it is, but if you are looking to swim lengths then this pool isn't for you! You will also have to leave 300Euros in cash for a deposit when you check in, so make sure you have that cash before you arrive. We've never had to do this before on Airbnb, so I think it is useful for you to know in advanced. We were a family of 4 each with our own large comfortable AC room, but the villa definitely sleeps 6 comfortably. We cooked nearly every night and the kitchen is equipped to a good standard and clean. Nice extras such a welcome hamper, big towels for bath and pool and Nespresso coffee machine, just make sure you take a stash of pods, we struggled to find these in supermarkets! We would love to go back! Thank you for hosting us, we had the most relaxing family holiday. Madeira itself is beautiful and friendly.

Amazing villa and pool very modern and clean everything you could want from a villa, not far from a local beach if you have small children, a couple of local supermarkets, view was wonderful to wake up to every morning,very peaceful and relaxing looking at the hills and sea in the distance, would recommend it to anyone as it's a fantastic villa.

Beautiful modern villa in an amazing setting with a stunning view! We loved our stay at the villa, we had everything we needed, the kitchen was very well equipped, the furniture is high quality and modern. It was even warm enough to go swimming in the pool in December; it was heated to 26 degree. We definitely want to come back.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Bella Vita Villa. Everything was extremely clean and extraordinary well equipped. The villa itself was really spacious and luxurious with a breathtaking view. There's no reason you shouldn't book this villa for your stay in Madeira :) Bonus: There's a very well trained cat at the villa which we named Skrt. We miss him already! Kind regards, Nicolas
It's a magical place : everything is perfect, it's beautiful, nothing is missing ! We really had a wonderful time thanks to the BellaVita villa ! I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it !
Ich mochte es fast nicht verraten: Aber das Haus ist einsame Spitze! Design sehr ansprechend, die Ausstattung komplett, vielfältig, sehr hochwertig, sehr bequem, gemütlich, absolut Stand der Technik und beyond. Im Juli 2020 fast alles noch neu, Pool tool, Aussicht sowieso, Weinkühlschrank, Playsstation, tolle "analoge" Spiele in neu, nicht abgegriffelt, liebe Katze sehr zutraulich, Klimanalage funktioniert einfach und zuverlässig, viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und sind dafür sehr dankbar. Noch nie war eine Ferienunterkunft schoener als unser Zuhause, dieses mal war das der Fall!
