equipped. Lovely neighbours. Cats fun. Towels for the pool would
have been great as would clear English instructions for the cooker
hob. We will be back.

The views from the location are stunning, we thoroughly
enjoyed watching the sunsets from our balcony. The views were
exactly like the photos, overlooking the town below, from the
infinity pool. The flat itself was in great condition, everything
was clean and the beds were incredibly comfy with pillows that were
actual pillows! The host was also great, they were super proactive
in sending us recommendations for the area. They also let us check
in early and sent us a video of how to access the property, and
responded to any questions we had quickly. They also left us a
bottle of wine and a watermelon for our arrival which were
delicious. Would highly recommend this place for those visiting
Madeira. It was well situated for the hikes in different parts of
the Island.

The Airbnb has AC in every room :) Our stay at this Airbnb was
fantastic. The view is stunning, and the location is
perfect-everything on the island is within easy reach. The house
was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped. Plenty of
parking, a great pool, and romantic sunsets made it even better.
We're already looking forward to returning. The neighborhood is
very friendly as well. Regarding the cats: yes, they're around and
quite sweet. They may sit by the window but won't come in. Feeding
them a little during meals worked well for us, and they never
disturbed us. The drive from the airport was easy, with
well-maintained roads. There are also supermarkets just 10 minutes
away, which was very convenient. Thanks again for this beautiful
holiday home!

Iedere avond zie je een fantastische zonsondergang. Het appartement

Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft. Der Blick auf's Meer ist
einfach grandios, egal ob am Tag oder Abends. Die Unterkunft liegt
in einer sehr sehr ruhigen Gegend. Den Pool hatten wir auch ganz
oft für uns alleine. Ich würde die Anzahl der Sonnenschirme erhöhen
und auch dringend welche erneuern, weil die Hälfte der Schirme
defekt sind. Das trübt den positiven Eindruck etwas. (Stand August
2024) Die streunenden Katzen haben uns nicht gestört; solange sie
auch von den anderen Urlaubern gefüttert werden, wird das auch
nicht aufhören! Der Kunstrasen wird in der Mittagssonne sehr
schnell so heiß, das man Barfuß nicht mehr laufen kann. Wir würden
jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft für einen Urlaub in Madeira
buchen! Die Ruhe & der Meerblick haben für alles entschädigt
:-) Wir waren 14 Tage in der Unterkunft, da wären ein paar
Reinigungsmittel schön gewesen. Der Kontakt mit Lidia war sehr gut.

SPECTACULAR!!!! VERY IMPORTANT to enter this as the adrs in GOOGLE MAPS: ER223 6 9370, Faja da Ovelha, Portugal The pictures are authentic and this place is mind blowing. The area is a smaller town in the mountains. You need a car. The restaurants are really good and DIRT CHEAP (steak sandwich 5.50Euro, Octopus sandwich 8Euro). It is so inexpensive that I was shocked but please tip as the staff does not ask but it is greatly appreciated. If you are driving, make sure you get an automatic car. If you are thinking of a manual transmission, please make sure you are used to it. I have driven many mountain roads in Europe and Madeira is really tough because it is STEEP and TIGHT. You are fine in the downtown of Funchal, but if you go out to see the many sites, such as the waterfall, get ready. If in doubt, pay for an automatic. Yes, the smell in the bathroom is bad, but this seems common throughout all of Madeira. This is a majestic property so enjoy it.

très grand et les chambres sont spacieuses. La piscine, zone
commune, est telle que décrite et propose chaises longues et
parasols. Nous avons apprécié notre hôte et sa disponibilité de
nous remettre le logement avant l'heure contractée. C'était très
appréciable. Seul petit défaut mineur, humidité dans une des
chambres contre terre et odeur de moisi. Nous reviendrions sans

foto's! Heerlijke rustige omgeving waar toch meer dan genoeg te
doen is. Villa is voorzien van alle luxe die je kan wensen en bij
het zwembad waan je je in een waar paradijs. Vanuit dit schattige
plekje ben je alsnog zo aan de kust of bij de meest prachtige
wandelingen, aangezien toch vrijwel alles in Madeira enkel per
(huur) auto bereikbaar is. Grote supermarkt op ongeveer 15 min
rijden. Super service van de host! Wij willen hier gegarandeerd
weer terugkomen ����

Wir haben 14 Tage in "unserer" Sunset Cliff Villa verbracht
und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage und Aussicht ist sehr
besonders und der Pool ist einfach Mega. Die Westküste Madeiras ist
noch etwas ursprünglicher und nicht so dicht besiedelt wie die Süd-
und Ostküste. Auch das hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Wir können
die Unterkunft und Region sehr empfehlen.

Wow!!! This place may be the best Airbnb we have ever stayed
at. We shared the space with friends, and it was perfect to spread
out on our own terrace. The infinity pool is just incredible with a
view that might be better than any other coastal viewpoint on the

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in dem Apartment. Der Pool ist
herausragend schön, mit toller Aussicht. Leider hatten wir an den
Tagen nicht so gutes Wetter, womit man auf Madeira aber rechnen
muss. Die Ausstattung ist gut, das Apartment war sehr sauber. Lidia
war immer erreichbar und hat uns bei Fragen schnell geantwortet.
Mit Kindern muss man beachten, dass Spaziergänge dort schwierig
sind, weil alles rundherum sehr steil ist. Ein Auto ist von daher
ein Muss!

Firstly, the host was super responsive and was great at
communicating, the host was also kind enough to provide us with
contact details for transport. The villa was absolutely beautiful
and looks just like the pictures, it was very clean and
picturesque. This place is great if you are wanting to relax as it
is quite isolated and there is limit public transport into the
city. However, it is perfect if you're wanting a relaxing holiday
or if you have transportation arranged. We really enjoyed our stay
at Sunset Cliff Villa.

Mar at the coast. In the evenings we could enjoy wonderful sunsets.

Thank you for your kind words about our property!Eine tolle Unterkunft, genau wie beschrieben. Wir kamen zu zweit aber die Wohnung könnte auch prima von 4 Leuten bewohnt werden. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Nicht nur die Küchengeräte, auch die Töpfe, Pfannen, Besteck… alles prima. Des Weiteren gibt es 2 identische Bäder, sodass man sich auch mit 2 Pärchen nicht ins Gehege kommt. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch und sogar vom Bett aus möglich und der Pool ist umwerfend. Auch der Check-in hat hervorragend geklappt und der Service war bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Wir können die Wohnung wirklich sehr empfehlen.

Thank you for your kind words about our property!Geweldig mooie locatie op een steile heuvel, je moet over een huurwagen beschikken gezien het een 15 min is naar de dichtsbijzijnde dorpjes met winkeltjes en restaurants, maar is er ruime parkeerplaats bij de villa's. Alles is nieuw, zeer goed onderhouden, netjes, ruim en smaakvol ingericht. Keuken is goed uitgerust, living heeft een gezellige bank en grote smart tv, ruime slaapkamers met veel kastruimte en goede bedden. Het zwembad heeft een geweldig uitzicht is ruim, maar niet verwarmd (in april was het nogal aan de frisse kant). Het onthaal was prima geregeld, goede persoonlijke communicatie via Lidia en warme ontvangst door Juan die ons ook wat tips gaf over de omgeving en ook nadien vlot beschikbaar was voor vragen. Topervaring en een aanrader voor wie het niet erg vind wat verder van de luchthaven en Funchal te logeren.
